People increasingly ask an assistant rather than a search engine which tool to buy. So we ask the assistants directly, on a schedule, and count which time trackers they name.
Klokly publishes this and sells a time tracker, which is a conflict of interest you should hold us to. It is why the method is written out in full below, why Klokly is ranked by exactly the same count as everyone else, and why we publish the number even when it is unflattering.

How this is measured
- 6 fixed questions, written as a buyer would type them, in English and Danish. The set does not change between runs, so two measurements are comparable.
- Asked with web search enabled, so the assistant answers from what it can find now rather than only from training data.
- Scored in code, not by a model. Each answer is matched against a fixed list of brand patterns. A tool counts once per answer.
- Brand names are matched carefully.“Harvest” and “Timely” are ordinary English words, so those match only when capitalised as brands — otherwise “harvest the data” would count as a recommendation.
The honest limits: this measures one assistant, the answers vary between runs, and adding a brand to the list changes every share figure after it — so a percentage here is comparable to other percentages in the same run, not to a run from before the list changed.
